WH10V3 & V2 Modification Service

If you've been frustrated with the signal boost, dark sweep, or bypass issues of the WH10V3 and V2, this mod serviceis designed to fix them—bringing your wah closer to the original vintage WH-10 tone.

What This Mod Fixes

• Adjustable Boost Control

  • The original black & purple WH-10 version had no boost, while the newer models have an excessive boost.

  • I've removed the toggle/Dry Out and replaced it with a volume control, allowing you to adjust the boost to your preference.

• True Bypass Conversion

  • WH10V3 has an op-amp-based buffer, and V2 has the original buffer design—both of which color your tone.

  • Since most players put their wah at the beginning of the signal chain, why should it be the buffer?

  • The mod removes the buffer entirely and replaces it with true bypass switching, eliminating any unwanted signal coloration.

• Restoring the Original WH-10 Sweep

  • Stock WH10V3 & V2 pedals have a darker, less pronounced sweep compared to the original WH-10 V1.

  • Through capacitor modifications, this mod restores the brighter, funkier sweep that made the original WH-10 legendary.
