The Ten Spot II V.3 builds upon the legendary WH10V1 circuit, a wah pedal cherished by artists like John Frusciante(Red Hot Chili Peppers), Josh Klinghoffer (formerly of RHCP, now with Pearl Jam and Pluralone), and bands like The Mars Volta. Known for its funky, unrivaled quack, the WH10V1 has inspired generations of players, and now, with the Ten Spot II V.3, you have even greater control over this iconic tone.
This version expands the flexibility of the original TSII and WH10, allowing you to customize the wah frequencieswhen switching between bass and guitar mode. One of the limitations of the original circuit was its lackluster bass mode, and I wanted to improve that while also allowing players to tweak the guitar settings—which led to the creation of the Funk Factory.
I redesigned the circuit board to include four internal six-position frequency switches, letting you sculpt both bass and guitar tones like never before. When Switches 3, 4, 5 & 6 are engaged in both banks, you get the stock WH10V1 bass and guitar settings. However, by experimenting with different switch combinations, you can fine-tune the pedal’s response to suit your sound. Check out the frequency settings sheet and manual for more details.
